ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for a new Open Air Livestock Facility for David Crockett High School, 684 Old State Route
34, Jonesborough, TN, will be received until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010, by the Architect, Beeson,
Lusk & Street, Inc., at the Washington County Department of Education, 405 West College Street,
Jonesborough, TN 37659. The Bids will be Publicly opened and read. Late Bids will be returned
unopened.
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and in accordance with the TN State Law for Licensing of
General Contractors (Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 TCA Title 62, Chapter 6 as amended). Each Bid
shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check, executed by a Company licensed to do business
in the State of TN in an amount equal to 5% of the amount of the Bid. A 100% Performance Bond will be
required for this project.
Deposit charges for the Contract Documents:S200.00 per set.
Purchase costs for Contract Documents are:
1. Complete Set, Plans & Specifications: $200.00 ea.
2. Individual Plan Sheets: $4.00 ea.
3. Individual Specification Pages: $0.25 ea.
A copy of the plans and specifications may be examined free of charge at the Office of the Architect,
Beeson, Lusk & Street, Inc. 423-928-1175.
A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at David Crockett High
School project site.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities.
